Setting up Voice Notifications
Use the voice notifications function to allow hosts to receive a phone call notifying them that they have a visitor every time a guest signs in. Be sure that the correct number for the host is recorded in each host's profile in the Address Book. The phone number must include a country code, for example:
+1 XXX-XXX-XXXX
If necessary, update host profiles with their phone numbers in one of the following ways.
- Manually, per profile
The phone number fields in the host's profile include a list of country codes: select a country code, enter the phone number, and
save the address book changes.
- In bulk, using CSV file
Create or modify an existing CSV file of host phone numbers (Desk Phone, Mobile Phone, or both) and upload it to the Address Book.
See the Address Book article for instructions on updating your Address Book by uploading a CSV file.
