Configuring General Settings in the Workforce Portal

Under General settings, you can adjust the following:
 

Approval Mechanism

Approval Mechanism sets how the requests for visit will be managed by the system.



There are three options:
 
- If All requests must be approved is selected, each request will be sent to the administrator for approval. 
- Over-capacity requests must be approved, if enabled, will send for approval those requests for visit to admins which exceed the capacity limit at this space/site.

These visit requests will be displayed under All Scheduled Visits -> Pending Approvals



- If Over-capacity is not permitted is enabled, the system will not allow employees to submit a visit request if it exceeds the capacity limit at this space/site. If they try doing so, they will see the following message:


Minimum Number Of Days Before Access

Minimum Number Of Days Before Access sets  how many days in advance employees can book their visit. If an employee tried to book a visit which is too far in advance, they will see an error message:
