Issues with iLobby Touchless

Issue 1: Host names cannot be found during Touchless sign-in.  

Resolution time
Maximum 2 minutes. 
Step 1: Log in with your credentials to the iLobby Portal through portal.goilobby.com 
Step 2: Select Address Book from the top of the screen, and search for the Host’s name. 
Step 3: Ensure that the host is listed as CAN BE VISITED at the site 
Step 4: During Touchless sign-in, host names can be found by entering either: 
- Host LAST NAME, or 
- Host FULL NAME 

Issue 2: After completing the Touchless induction process on your smartphone, the iPad QR reader does not open when pressing “START” on your smartphone.  

Resolution time: 
Maximum 30 minutes.  
Important things to check for
- A red dot on the bottom left or right corner of the iLobby kiosk Welcome screen 
- A red dot can indicate an unstable network connection, or the device has dropped Wi-Fi connection 

Step 1: Check the device's connectivity.

1. On the main Welcome screen of iLobby, there is a green, yellow, or red dot.   
2. If the dot is green, skip to step 2.   
3. If the dot is yellow or red, it can indicate that there is a connectivity issue with the network. Ensure that the iPad is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network in the Settings App

Step 2: Perform a reboot of the iPad 

1. On the iPad, exit the iLobby app, press the Settings App . In the General tab, press Shut Down, and then slide to power off.
2. Turn on the iPad by pressing the Power Button (usually located on the top left back corner of the iPad). Release the Power Button when you see the Apple logo appear 
If the iLobby app is still showing as offline, please contact Support@iLobby.com and request that your iLobby application is re-installed on the device
