Signing out from the iLobby Application

Signing out from the iLobby Application

You can allow visitors to sign themselves out of the iLobby app: the sign-out option appears in the bottom right corner of the Welcome screen

and as a selection on the How may I help you? Screen.

A visitor taps on Sign out and begins to type their name. Matching results are displayed: the visitor selects the appropriate record and is signed out.

Alternatively, visitors can sign out using a valid QR code issued by iLobby (event QR code, Employee pass, or badge with a QR code) by tapping on Have a code? on the Main menu screen.

When a visitor signs out, their entry is removed from the Dashboard on the backend Portal and a sign out timestamp is recorded in the visitor log. Once a sign out is completed, visitors can follow the returning visitor flow when they return to the facility.

Note that visitors can use the returning visitor flow even if still signed in.

To set up this feature:

  1. Go to the backend portal portal.goilobby.com.

  2. Click , then Configuration, then click on your site.

  3. On the Features tab, toggle Sign out to On (green) position.

If you do not set up this feature, visitors remain signed in until they are signed-out by the system (if the portal is configured to do so, please refer to the article Configuring Visitor Auto-Signout ) or by a user with access to the portal and the appropriate permissions.
