Issue 1: The iPad battery is not holding 100% charge.

Important things to check for:
Third-party charging equipment will sometimes cause the iPad to not charge as quickly.
Step 1: Reboot the iPad.
1. Hold down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If there is no home button on your iPad:
- Press and hold down on the top button and either the volume up or volume down button until a slider appears.
- Slide a finger along the slider to turn off the iPad.
- Once it's turned off, press and hold on the top button again until the Apple logo appears
Step 2: Ensure you are using an Apple cable and appropriate charging brick.
1. Depending on your iPad model, it may need more Watts to charge while being turned on all day.
- Model Air 2, 5th and 6th Generation require 12W
- Model 7th and 8th Generation require 20W
- 12.9-inch Pro Models require 20W
You can find how many Watts your charging brick provides by looking at its Certification Label.
Step 3: Try using a different Apple cable/charging brick. Alternatively, try a different power outlet.
Sometimes, the existing charging unit or power outlet may not provide enough electricity.
Step 4: Allow the iPad battery to drain overnight by unplugging it from the power outlet.
1. Sometimes, there may be an issue with the iPad battery not displaying the correct battery percentage.
2. Once the iPad battery has drained to 0, plug it back in the power outlet to see if it can charge to 100%.
