Epson Color Printer

         I.            Unpack and make sure you have all parts.

1.       Printer

2.       2 sets of ink cartridges

3.       6 rolls of Epson paper labels

4.       A Wi-Fi module if you discuss this with your CS that this is needed.

       II.            Remove all protective materials, including inside the printer too.

     III.            Place printer on a flat surface.

1.       Insert the AC adapter’s DC connector into the printers DC-in connector.

2.       Insert the AC cable connector into the AC adapter.

3.       Plug the AC cable into an outlet. 



    I         Hold down the power button until the power LED lights up to turn on the printer. Set language and date/time, then select which type of black ink you use (gloss or matte)


      V.         Shake the ink cartridges and then unpack and install them following the onscreen instructions. Please ensure you are using the small ink cartridges. This is the priming stage and will take about 20 minutes.


    VI.         Insert the paper roll

1.       Make sure you are using the correct paper rolls specifically designed for your printer, measuring 4" x 3" in size. Using the right paper is crucial for optimal performance.

2.       Begin by opening the paper compartment door. Simply push the grey lever upwards to access the compartment.

3.       Take a look at the top of the printer and locate the picture illustrating the Platen configuration. Ensure that the Platen is set to the 101.6 mm option, aligning it properly.

4.       Locate the blue lever and push it upward. Then, move it as far left as it will go.

5.       Take the paper roll and place it inside the compartment, ensuring that the labels are facing up.

6.       Now, push the blue lever all the way to the right until it touching the paper roll. Once aligned, push it down to securely lock it in place.

7.       To make sure the labels are properly positioned, pull out a few of them until they are visible when you close the paper compartment door. Once the labels are visible, close the door tightly.

8.       Press the pause button on the printer. This action will align the paper, preparing it for printing.

9.       Finally, press the scissor button to cut off any extra labels, providing a clean and professional finish to your prints.

 

   VII.            Connect the printer to your iLobby portal:

1.       Sign into your iLobby account using your login credentials. Once logged in, you'll be ready to configure your settings and start printing in colour.

Now, let's set up your color printer with a static IP address. Here's how:

a.       Navigate to the settings menu within your iLobby account.

b.       Select Configuration.

c.       Select the desired site for your color printer activation.

d.       Select Features and enable badge printing.

e.       Choose Ethernet or Wi-Fi as your preferred connection method.

f.        Then, specify the IP address of your printer.

g.       Select "4x3 labels (Epson)" as the media type for your printer

 

Next, let's connect your iPad to the printer. Here's what you need to do:

a.       Access the settings menu on your iPad.

b.       Locate the Device section and select the specific iPad you are working with.

c.       Look for the Printer IP Address option and enter the IP address that is displayed on your printer.

Your Epson Printer is now ready to print your color badges!
